Ag Sales Rep
(Home Based)

Now Hiring 

Seeking a sales rep for our Midwest territory (Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin) and will be responsible for selling the Flywheel app to Agriculture co-ops! 

In this role, there is an opportunity to influence Ag sales processes by promoting and evolving the Flywheel sales and marketing software app. 

 

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Focus on engaging agriculture co-ops to appreciate their sales/marketing challenges. 

  • Provide perspective and establish priorities with the Flywheel product development team. 

  • Successfully communicate the value of the ecosystem created by Flywheel and their technology partners against prospective business challenges. 

  • Navigate prospect opportunities and challenges with the result of establishing a signed customer contract.   

  • Attend and participate in trade shows, seminars, or educational activities to stay up to date on the latest developments, trends and regulations in the marketplace.  

  • Partnering with and selling to Agriculture Management personnel. 

  • Work closely with Flywheel team members by maintaining industry awareness about technical developments and gathering of technology and business needs from customers.  

  • Manage and keep a list of customers and prospects through a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tool logging and organizing sales call information. 

 

Qualifications:  

  • Agriculture certification, ideally in Agronomy/Grain Marketing.   

  • Agriculture community life experience – work or personal.   

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills that have resulted in establishing meaningful customer and partner relationships.  

  • Available Monday to Friday for local travel with occasional overnight stays. 

  • Entrepreneurial spirit 

  • Ability to grow personally and professionally with an interest in learning – we’re building something new here!
